Project Discovery is a proven and replicable program that will help any student succeed in high school and get into college. Over the last 11 years over 84% of our graduates have gone on to post secondary education. Our program is a proven mix to:

In October of 2006 the Gates Foundation contracted with the Bridgespan Group to survey drop out prevention and college access programs to see what works. The Bridgespan Group found that the four greatest indicators of success in both high school and in college admissions were;
- A belief that college was necessary to a future career
- Students had friends who planned to attend college
- Students took rigorous high school classes
- Students actually applied for financial aid
Project Discovery does all of these things and more. We help kids build a peer group of friends who are excited about the possibilities offered by higher education. Get with your local high school counselor and see if there is a Project Discovery group at your school. If not, get in touch with the Project Discovery central office and see about starting one.
